Carlee Farm Style Shoot Promo Video

This shoot came with a fun challenge: I was running light with just my Canon R6 and an adapted Canon EF 70–200mm lens. Add in a North Carolina summer in June (yes… that heat 😅), and let’s just say the camera was working just as hard as I was. Overheating warnings tried to steal the show, but we pushed through—and most importantly, delivered a final video that made the owner happy.

This promo video was created for Carlee Farm, showcasing their beautiful venue for couples searching for the perfect setting for their special day.

This was actually the second promotional video I produced for Carlee Farm—and a memorable one. I was originally scheduled to photograph a styled shoot, but plans shifted when most of the videographers didn’t show. With limited gear and little notice, I stepped in and captured what I could with the equipment on hand.

Sometimes creativity isn’t about having the perfect setup—it’s about adapting, solving problems, and telling the story anyway.
